The Charitable Kyiv Region competition is part of the National Competition “Charitable Ukraine–2025”, aiming to:

  • Develop a culture of charity and volunteerism

  • Recognize the best philanthropists, patrons, and volunteers in the Kyiv region who contributed in 2025

The regional stage is supported by the Olena and Dmytro Kostyrk family in partnership with the Association of Philanthropists of Ukraine, who have a long history of supporting charitable initiatives in the region.

  • State authorities, local governments, and political parties cannot submit applications themselves, but may nominate candidates

  • 28 nomination categories are available

  • Applicants can choose up to four relevant categories

    • Up to five photos documenting activities

    • Links to publications, reviews, recommendations

    • Financial reports or other supporting documents

  • For charitable foundations and public organizations, an annual financial report is mandatory

Applications can be submitted by:

  • Benefactors themselves

  • Recipients of charitable assistance
