Open Call: J&O Lloyd Community Fund Program (United Kingdom)

Apply for Crighshane and Churchill Community Benefit Fund Programme (UK)

Deadline: 31-Mar-2026

The J & O Lloyd Community Grants are funded by a private endowment and are to bring benefit to organisations working within the boundaries of the East Staffordshire Borough Council area.

Grants of up to £10,000 are available to support organisations that provide benefits to communities within the East Staffordshire borough. While applicants are usually expected to be based within the borough, organisations outside the area may be considered in exceptional circumstances if they can demonstrate that the funding will exclusively benefit residents of East Staffordshire.

The fund supports a wide range of projects, including both capital and revenue initiatives. Applications can cover one-off projects or longer-term plans spanning up to three years. This flexibility allows organisations to address immediate needs or invest in sustained community development over time.

Eligible costs include equipment purchases, capital investments, training, core operational expenses, event costs, and one-off project expenses. Unlike many funding sources, this fund does not exclude any specific project costs, although part funding is unlikely unless other funding has already been secured.

Funding is not available for projects that promote religion, though religious organisations can apply for non-religious initiatives. Similarly, applications that advance the interests of a particular political party over others are ineligible.

Overall, this grant offers a valuable opportunity for organisations in East Staffordshire to access meaningful financial support, helping to deliver projects that have a tangible impact on local communities and enhance the well-being of residents.
