#image_title

Deadline: 07-Nov-2025

The AgriFutures Australia is inviting applications for its Rural Women’s Acceleration Grant Programme, offering women with an idea, cause, or vision the opportunity to make an impact in rural and emerging industries and communities through learning and development initiatives that help bring their vision to life.

The grant aims to foster initiatives that align with one or more of the following categories: Community, Collaboration, or Commercial. Successful applicants will enter into a separate agreement with AgriFutures Australia and, subject to this agreement, receive funding of up to AUD $7,000 to be spent on learning and development activities that positively impact the development of their idea, cause, or vision. Funding will be provided directly to the applicant’s personal bank account, unless otherwise approved by AgriFutures Australia.

Entry is open to individuals over 18 years of age who identify as female, are permanent residents of Australia, and have developed an idea, cause, or vision that is not yet launched, aligns with the values of the Award, fits within the categories of Community, Collaboration, or Commercial, and is their own original concept. Applicants must not be related parties of AgriFutures Australia and must not be previous winners of certain related awards. Only one entry per applicant is allowed each year.

Applications are assessed based on the clarity and originality of the idea, cause, or vision, alignment with the Community, Collaboration, or Commercial categories, potential impact and feasibility, the applicant’s leadership potential, commitment to rural industries and communities, and alignment with the values of the Acceleration Grant. Successful applicants will be selected by a panel of judges appointed by AgriFutures Australia and may have their names published on the AgriFutures Australia website and social media channels.

By submitting an application, applicants agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the grant, allow AgriFutures Australia to use information about their application in various forums, and provide proof of identity, age, or residency if requested. Applicants warrant that their applications are original, do not infringe on third-party rights, and do not contain offensive or unlawful content. AgriFutures Australia reserves the right to refuse or exclude any application at its discretion and may verify the validity of applications.

Applications for the Acceleration Grant will be closed on 7 November 2025 and must be submitted via the AgriFutures Australia website. Successful applicants are encouraged to apply for the Rural Women’s Award in a subsequent year once their idea, cause, or vision has launched.
