Olive and Jesse Palmer Fund in the United Kingdom

Micro-Grants for Legal Compliance Support for Women-Led/Serving CSOs in Chitral (Pakistan)

Deadline: 01-Aug-2025

The Cambridgeshire Community Foundation has introduced the Olive and Jesse Palmer Fund to support organisations based in Peterborough. This initiative is aimed at helping local young people with learning disabilities by providing them access to positive activities and opportunities that allow them to reach their full potential.

The fund offers grants of up to £5,000 to eligible applicants. It is open only to community-focused, not-for-profit organisations. If an organisation’s income exceeds £5,000, it must be legally registered.

Eligible applicants include registered, exempt, and excepted charities, charitable incorporated organisations (CIOs), and religious organisations—provided their projects serve the broader community and exclude religious content. Parish and town councils, village halls, and parochial church councils can also apply.

Other eligible groups include community interest companies (CICs), social enterprises, and companies limited by guarantee, all of which must have been operating for at least one year prior to applying. Co-operatives and community benefit societies are also accepted.

Schools and sports clubs may apply as well, as long as the sports clubs are either community amateur sports clubs (CASCs), affiliated with a national governing body, or have an income under £5,000.
