Nominations are now open for “Stelios Awards for Disabled Entrepreneurs” to recognize the achievements of disabled entrepreneurs who have set up their own company or social enterprise.
Prizes
A total of £100,000 will be distributed as follows:
- £30,000 to one overall winner.
- £10,000 to four shortlist winners each.
- £5,000 to four longlist winners each.
- A Judges’ Prize of £10,000 to be distributed to one or more applicants at the Judges’ discretion.
Eligibility Criteria
- The awards are open to disabled applicants over the age of 18, operating in the UK only.
- The awards are open to registered and not-yet registered companies, charities and social enterprises.
- A disabled entrepreneur must own at least 50% of the company.
- The company must be at most seven years old.
- The applicant must have, or plans to have, an active online presence.
- Past winners and/or applicants are welcome to re-apply. Many winners have applied before.
