Deadline: 03-Oct-2025
The Northamptonshire Queen’s Institute Relief Fund is now accepting applications from groups across Northamptonshire looking to improve health and wellbeing in their communities.
The fund offers one-off grants of up to £5,000 for projects that focus on things like helping people manage health conditions, supporting those with learning disabilities or mental health needs, reducing isolation, or using creative and physical activity to boost wellbeing.
This opportunity is open to small, locally-led voluntary, community, or self-help groups based in Northamptonshire. Applicants must have a constitution or written rules, policies for safeguarding and equality, and include volunteers beyond just their management committee. Groups are encouraged to consult the foundation’s Hidden Needs Report to better understand the priority health and wellbeing issues facing the area.
Projects involving building work, political or religious campaigning, or profit-making organisations are not eligible. The application must follow the fund’s guidance notes and supporting document checklist, and the group should ensure they meet the fund’s ethical and governance criteria.
The grant round aims to distribute funds to projects that can have real, positive impacts—helping people live better, engaging volunteers, reducing isolation, and supporting vulnerable populations. If you’re part of a local group with a project idea that promotes wellbeing, this fund is a clear chance to access resources and make change locally.
