The Treasures Within: an intersectoral project for Syria as a means for reconciliation and early recovery, UNESCO Beirut office launches a call to collect innovative youth-led and youth-targeting actions and partnership proposals as well as talents to create an environment in Syria where young women and men are empowered, heard, and engaged meaningfully for a better livelihood and in reconciliation and early recovery in Syria at a difficult time of COVID-19 pandemic.

The project (2021-2022) is carefully aligned with the draft National Framework of Action on Adolescent and Youth Development and Participation in Syriai and adheres to the Human Security approach. The project is supported by the Japanese Government’s Supplementary Fund.

Civil society groups, youth organizations, Faith-based organizations, Disabled Persons Organization (DPO) and community based organizations registered in Syria under the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor (MOSAL), private university as wellas research center can submit a proposal.

The proposal should focus on Young men and women at the core of the project:

A proposal should feed the project priorities. One proposal should address only one priority. One organization can submit up to 3 proposals.
