Applications are open for All-Russian Journalists’ Contest “Economic Revival of Russia” to stimulate the development of the economic direction in domestic journalism and objective reflection of the problems of the formation and success of domestic entrepreneurship by the mass media.
The All-Russian Journalists’ Contest “Economic Revival of Russia” is annually held by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the Union of Russian Journalists.
The winners of the contest receive diplomas of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the Union of Journalists of Russia, as well as valuable prizes.
Categories
The following main categories of the federal stage of the contest are established:
- the best federal mass media (newspapers and magazines, news agencies, television and radio companies, online publications);
- the best regional mass media (newspapers and magazines, news agencies, television and radio companies, online publications);
- the best individual publications in printed publications, information agency materials, television and radio programs;
- the best media in the RF CCI system (newspapers, magazines, TV programs, online publications);
- the best sectoral media (newspapers, magazines, online publications);
- a successful start (journalists under 25 years with experience of professional activity up to 4 years are involved).

The main themes of the works submitted for the competition:
- The current state of the Russian economy, its individual industries;
- innovative processes in the Russian economy;
- implementation of priority national projects;
- implementation of effective industrial policy;
- public private partnership;
- investment activities;
- features of economic development of regions;
- place and role of small and medium-sized businesses in Russia;
- the formation of a civilized market;
- social responsibility of business and business ethics;
- import substitution as a factor of stability and economic growth;
- successful projects and new enterprises.
Program Stages
The competition is held in two stages:
- At the regional stage of the competition applications are submitted – until February 1, 2018 (conducted by the territorial CCI, committees of the RF CCI, industry associations and business associations in conjunction with the regional offices of the Union of Journalists of Russia).
- At the federal stage of the competition applications are submitted until March 1, 2018 (conducted by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation and the Union of Journalists of Russia).
Eligibility Criteria
Journalists, editorial offices and editorial teams of central, republican, regional, district and city newspapers and magazines, news agencies, television and radio, Internet publications are invited to participate in the competition.
