RFPs: Doctor of Public Health Scholarships Programme

Open Call for Proposals for Farm Safety, Health and Wellbeing Projects (Ireland)

Deadline: 10-Oct-2025

The Africa Health Collaborative is seeking applications for its Doctor of Public Health Scholarships Programme to announce the start of the 2026-2027 Mastercard Foundation graduate scholarship recruitment at the University of Toronto.

The Mastercard Foundation Doctoral Scholarship not only ensures academic opportunities but also creates a pathway for scholars to actively contribute to their home countries after completing their studies. Successful candidates will benefit from tuition coverage, travel and housing support, book and food allowances, and an academic support system that eases their transition to graduate life in Toronto. Orientation sessions will also prepare participants both for their academic journey and for their commitment to return home and support social and economic development.

To apply, prospective candidates must first confirm their eligibility for the Doctor of Public Health program at the University of Toronto. This scholarship stands as an opportunity for aspiring public health leaders to gain a world-class education while remaining deeply connected to the mission of returning home and giving back to Africa’s future.

Applicants who meet all criteria and are approved will be notified by November 1, 2025. Shortlisted candidates will then move forward to complete the Doctor of Public Health application with the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, which must be submitted by November 21, 2025.

Attendance at one of the mandatory virtual information sessions is required before submitting an application for the scholarship, which is due by October 10, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. EST.
