Applications open for Warwick and Dominey Fund (UK)

Call for Applications: Local Enhancement Grant Programme in Ireland

Deadline: 01-Aug-2025

The Cambridgeshire Community Foundation is excited to announce the Warwick and Dominey Fund, inviting applications from eligible organisations. This fund focuses on advancing education and tackling social disadvantage within communities.

Grants typically average around £4,000 and are intended to support projects that make a real difference locally. Only non-profit organisations with a community focus are eligible to apply.

Eligible applicants include registered charities, charitable incorporated organisations (CIOs), religious organisations whose projects benefit the wider community without religious content, parish and town councils, village halls, parochial church councils, community interest companies (CICs), social enterprises, and companies limited by guarantee.

The fund does not support projects from organisational structures outside these categories, activities that have already taken place, sponsored events or fundraising activities, grant-making bodies, or improvements to land or buildings not open to the public at convenient hours.

To apply, organisations must provide a signed governing document, such as articles of association or a constitution, confirming their not-for-profit status and including a dissolution clause specifying the distribution of assets if the organisation ceases to operate.

Applicants must also submit accounts from the past year or, if a small unincorporated group, an income and expenditure document. New organisations should provide a list of income and expenditure to date.

A recent bank statement or paying-in slip from the last three months is required to verify banking details. This document must show the bank name and logo, account name, sort code, and account number; screenshots of online statements are not accepted.

Finally, applicants must list three independent management committee members, trustees, or directors to demonstrate good governance and fair decision-making within the organisation.
