Deadline: 20-Oct-2025

The Hatathon 6.0 has started — the annual online ideathon of the HATA Hub platform, implemented as a joint project of Digitizing Space, House of Europe and Goethe-Institut Ukraine.

The focus areas, objectives, priorities, and themes cover digital platforms and services for culture and creative industries, innovations in digital culture, tourism, and education, storytelling and content initiatives about Ukrainian culture and heritage, and the digitization and mapping of cultural heritage. Participants will work on the implementation of projects in the field of Culture Tech, a field that combines culture, art, innovative technologies and digital tools to create projects on the edge, with professionals using technology to create, disseminate and preserve culture.

Participants will have the opportunity to shape their ideas into products under mentoring support, gain access to the expertise of Ukrainian and international specialists, join a community that supports innovation in the field of culture, and present their projects at the final Pitch Day in Kyiv. Winners will also have the chance to receive a cash prize from the prize fund of 5,000 euros, with the distribution determined by the jury. In addition, a series of lectures, workshops, and practical tasks will be offered throughout the ideathon to enhance participants’ skills and project development.

The ideathon is open to creatives, graphic and web designers, developers, engineers, data analysts, videographers and film industry specialists, startup founders, artists, museum, archive, and library workers, curators and cultural art managers, PR and marketing specialists, as well as representatives of local governments.

Interested individuals can register by filling out the form until October 20, 2025, inclusively until 5:00 PM.
