Global Undergraduate Exchange Program in Azerbaijan

GMF’s Policy Designers Network Fellowship

Deadline: 6-Jan-22

The Global Undergraduate Exchange Program (Global UGRAD) is sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. It is a fully-funded scholarship for one semester of non-degree academic study at an assigned U.S. college or university.

Participants are emerging leaders committed to their home communities. During the Program, Global UGRAD participants challenge themselves to explore U.S. society, culture, and academic learning. They also participate in community service and enhance their professional skills.

Each year the U.S. Department of State selects approximately 250 promising young undergraduate leaders from some 60 countries across the globe to participate in a one-semester exchange at U.S. colleges and universities. Program participants take courses alongside their U.S. peers, engage in community service, and develop skills critical to success in the 21st century. Participants leave the United States with the tools to become leaders in their professions and communities. Global UGRAD alumni go on to receive Fulbright grants, obtain prestigious international internships, and work in business and government in their home countries and regions.
