Energy Grant for Third Sector Organisations in United Kingdom

Call for EOIs: Innovations in Sustainable Waste and E-Waste Management for Energy Products in Harare (Zimbabwe)

Deadline: 31-Mar-2026

The Liverpool City Council is offering an Energy Grant to help third sector organisations manage rising energy costs and maintain the operation of vital community services.

The focus of this grant is to support community hubs, charities, and not-for-profit organisations in Liverpool by providing financial assistance to cover energy-related expenses. The grant aims to ensure that essential services remain accessible to local communities despite increasing energy bills.

Liverpool City Council has been awarded £100,000 from the government’s Household Support Fund to support third sector organisations with increased energy costs during the winter months. Eligible organisations can apply for a one-off grant of £500 to cover electricity, gas, and other energy-related expenses.

Eligible applicants include registered charities, community interest companies, and other not-for-profit organisations operating in Liverpool. Priority is given to organisations that directly support local residents and provide services that benefit the community.

Applications are assessed on the organisation’s need, the impact of energy cost support on community services, and the organisation’s capacity to deliver its programmes efficiently. Organisations may be required to submit supporting documents, including energy bills and proof of operational status.
