Deadline: 16-Apr-25

The United Nations International Children’s Emergency Fund is requesting applications to identify eligible CSOs that could support girls and boys, adolescents from Roma and Egyptian community to develop skills, build positive relationships that will lead to better education outcome and consequently delay of child marriage.

Through the selected CSO, UNICEF is aiming to support girls and boys, adolescents and their parents in Roma and Egyptian community on raising knowledge and awareness of the importance of education and negative consequences of child marriage. Selected CSO should provide direct support to children and adolescents at risk of school drop-out through supporting life building skills, building links between community and school and improving children’s school attendance, and hence increase their opportunities to progress further in school.

Along with activities designed for girls and boys, support will be simultaneously provided to families with the aim to support families to have an active role to their children’s lives at school and beyond. In addition, innovative methods and activities for direct engagement of children and families to raise their knowledge and awareness of importance of education will be welcome. CSO should have already good cooperation with local municipalities and schools, trust by Roma and Egyptian community and youth services etc.
