The Potanin Foundation announces the launch of the competition to support projects in the field of social sports “Sport for All “2022/23.
The competition is aimed at identifying and supporting amateur sports initiatives and promoting social sports as an effective tool for strengthening social ties and activating communities.
Objectives
- Strengthening long-term positive changes – the social effect – from the implementation of the Foundation’s charitable programs.
- Promotion of social sports as an effective tool for strengthening social ties and improving the quality of life.
- Identification and support of amateur sports initiatives that contribute to the involvement of citizens in solving social problems.
- Formation of a community of initiative organizations using sports social practices as drivers of sustainable positive changes in society.
The competition was launched in 2021 as part of a new charity program of the Power of Sports Foundation.
Competition Nominations
- Sports and health: Projects that consider sports as one of the components of a healthy lifestyle for the general population, which can use both offline and online technologies for working with the target audience.
- Sports and education: Projects that promote personal development, the acquisition of skills and competencies for a quality life, personal and professional self-realization, which can combine traditional and high-tech forms of education.
- Sport and equality: Projects aimed at developing inclusion, cooperation and good neighborliness, removing social barriers and inequalities, including raising awareness of sports opportunities.
- Sports and sustainability: Projects aimed at the development of territories, the preservation of culture and historical heritage, the fight against climate change, as well as projects in the field of communications, and using digital and IT technologies to promote the ideas and meanings of this nomination.
Award Information
- The winners of the competition receive grants for the implementation of sports social projects. The maximum grant amount is 2 million rubles.
Eligibility Criteria
- Non-profit organizations, including state and municipal (state, budgetary, autonomous) institutions and private (non-state) institutions located on the territory of the Russian Federation and registered in accordance with the current Russian legislation, and / or their structural / separate subdivisions carrying out one or more of the following types of activities in accordance with the Charter/Regulations or regulations on activities:
- Charity;
- Education, enlightenment, science, culture, art;
- Museum activities and / or activities for the preservation of cultural heritage;
- health care, prevention and protection of the health of citizens, promotion of a healthy lifestyle, improvement of the moral and psychological state of citizens, physical culture and sports (with the exception of professional sports) and the promotion of these activities;
- Promotion of activities in the field of prevention and protection of the health of citizens, promotion of a healthy lifestyle, improvement of the moral and psychological state of citizens;
- Assistance to the spiritual development of the individual;
- social support and protection of citizens, including social services and improving the financial situation of the low-income, social rehabilitation of the unemployed, the disabled and other persons who, due to their physical or intellectual characteristics, other circumstances, are not able to independently exercise their rights and legitimate interests;
- Training of the population in the field of protection against emergency situations, promotion of knowledge in the field of protection of the population and territories from emergency situations;
- Environmental protection.
- Organizations must meet the following requirements:
- Registered on the territory of the Russian Federation in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation, carry out activities on the territory of the Russian Federation;
- Are not in the process of liquidation, no insolvency (bankruptcy) proceedings have been initiated against them, their activities have not been suspended in the manner prescribed by law;
- Registered no later than 6 (six) months before the closing date for the acceptance of applications for the Contest;
- are independent non-commercial legal entities (that is, they have their own TIN, charter without reference to the charter of the parent organization, current account) or structural / separate subdivisions of non-commercial legal entities: divisions, departments, branches, representative offices, territorial divisions (have Regulations on activities, but may not have their own TIN, charter or current account, or have a charter with reference to the charter of the parent organization).
- The number of projects from one organization is not limited, provided that each application is submitted by a separate applicant. Each applicant/project manager can submit no more than one application for the competition. The number of winners from one organization is not quota.
Competitors cannot be
- Individual entrepreneurs (IE) and commercial organizations of any form:
- Business partnerships and companies, business partnerships, production cooperatives, state and municipal unitary enterprises, as well as their separate subdivisions (branches and representative offices);
- consumer cooperatives, including housing, housing and garage cooperatives, mutual insurance companies, credit cooperatives, rental funds and agricultural consumer cooperatives;
- Associations of real estate owners, including associations of homeowners, horticultural or horticultural non-profit associations;
- Bar associations and bar associations;
- State corporations;
- Cossack societies included in the relevant register;
- international companies
- Microfinance organizations;
- Notary chambers;
- Communities of indigenous peoples of the Russian Federation;
- Associations of employers;
- Political parties;
- Professional sports clubs;
- Public law companies;
- Religious organizations;
- Self-regulating organizations;
- Chambers of commerce and industry.
