The Chevening is accepting applications for its Chevening Clore Fellowship whish is a unique programme of cultural leadership development that seeks to enrich and transform cultural practice and engagement. Professionals in the arts and culture sector are given the opportunity to undertake an individually tailored leadership programme in the UK.

Each year, 25 places are awarded to exceptional leaders from a range of specialisms across the cultural sector including the visual and performing arts, film and digital media, museums, libraries, archives and heritage, cultural policy and practice. The UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office funds up to six international Fellows to become part of the cohort.

The Fellowship provides a number of core activities and a loose framework to support applicants’ individual development as a cultural leader over a period of around seven months. The Programme has been shaping exceptional cultural leaders for the last 14 years.

The Fellowship Programme is for leaders with ambition and vision, who can show clearly how they might take their leadership to the next level. They are looking for leaders who are dynamic, strategic and collaborative; who possess a high degree of intellectual curiosity, creativity, integrity and emotional intelligence. Applicants will be entrepreneurial and driven to making a difference in their community of practice, sector and society through culture. Whether working independently or as part of an institution, applicants will be able to demonstrate their aptitude and appetite for effecting significant change.
