Digital Promise is pleased to announce an open call for applications to HP Teaching Fellowship.
HP Teaching Fellows are educators across the United States and Canada who are passionate about the use of technology to enhance teaching and learning. These educators use powerful technologies for their planning and facilitation of learning experiences while also integrating technology to provide equitable learning practices to support students as they become global citizens. HP Teaching Fellows document and share their work with the broader education community, serving as model innovative educators and champions of “Powerful Technology for Powerful Learning.”
The Fellowship is a minimum 1-year experience, with an opportunity to continue in a Year 2 Fellowship program. HP Teaching Fellows are provided with access to a peer-to-peer professional learning community of innovative educators who regularly engage in powerful professional learning, amplifying educator voice through key multimedia content production, networking, and opportunities for external conferences and events.
Goals of the HP Teaching Fellowship
- Empower educators to apply the Powerful Learning Principles in their classrooms
- Illuminate other learning and professional growth opportunities for fellows
- Strengthen fellows’ connections to program resources including tools, frameworks, and growth opportunities

What is expected of HP Teaching Fellows?
- Participate in, design, and facilitate empowering learning experiences for students and colleagues.
- Showcase practical and replicable ways to integrate technology in the classroom by exploring and utilizing various technological tools.
- Maintain an active social media presence to highlight powerful learning experiences.
- Contribute effective instructional practices and educator experiences in the HP Teaching Fellow community.
Eligibility Criteria
- Must be an educator associated with a K12 school or district
- Must be located in the United States or Canada
- Must work with students on a weekly basis (classroom teacher, para-educator, librarian/media specialist, instructional coach, etc..)
