As part of its efforts to address the challenges associated with nuclear weapons, the Council on Strategic Risks (CSR) is seeking six Fellows for its Fellowship for Reducing Nuclear Weapons Risks.

The Council on Strategic Risks (CSR) is a non-profit organization that is committed to developing achievable nuclear weapons risk reduction measures and to mentoring potential future leaders in this field of work.

Toward these goals, CSR is establishing the Fellowship for Reducing Nuclear Weapons Risks. Through this six-month program, early-career professionals will work with leading experts from CSR’s team and network to develop a better understanding of practical risk reduction concepts and generate new ideas regarding:

Through mentorship and exchanges of ideas with key leaders in the field, the CSR team will facilitate the Fellows in exploring wide-ranging ideas to achieve this risk reduction. The Fellowship will help develop participants as future thought leaders and problem-solvers who are prepared to make a difference on a global scale.

Fellows will participate in monthly research, meetings with nuclear weapons experts, and a scenario exercise. Activities will also include an experiential learning trip focused on the technical side of the nuclear weapons enterprise.
