IWMF Tanzania and Rwanda Reporting Fellowships: Inviting Women Journalists across the World

International Women’s Media Foundation (IWMF) is seeking applications from women journalists from all over the world for its reporting trip to Tanzania and Rwanda from February 17 – 28, 2017.

Both groups of reporting Fellows will begin their trip in Nairobi, Kenya, where they will complete orientation and a three-day Hostile Environments and First Aid Training (HEFAT) February 17 – 19. Fellows then depart for eight days of in-country reporting February 20 – 28 from Mwanza (northern Tanzania Reporting Fellowship) or Kigali (Rwanda Reporting Fellowship), where they will have the opportunity to network with other journalists, report independently and collaboratively with their peers, and gain access to a variety of sources and sites related to their reporting.
