Deadline: 30 June 2016
The United Nations Foundation is currently inviting applications from select group of U.S.-based journalists for its Press Fellowship with an aim to offer unparalleled opportunities to learn directly from community health workers, reproductive health experts, and government officials.
This fellowship will give journalists the opportunity to see the complexities of these challenges first-hand, and also learn about progress made and opportunities for the future.
More than three-quarters of Uganda’s population is under the age of 30. Empowering each of these young people with access to access to quality sexual and reproductive health services is more important than ever. While contraceptive use in Uganda has risen from 11% to 30% in the last twenty years, there is still a large unmet need for quality family planning information and services.
