Wilson Center’s Visiting Arab Journalist Program

Grants to support Civil Society Organizations in Uzbekistan

Deadline: 15-Jan-23

The Middle East Program is pleased to announce the 2023 competition for the Wilson Center’s Visiting Arab Journalist Program.

This program is made possible by generous financial support provided by Dr. David Ottaway, Middle East Fellow at the Woodrow Wilson Center. One Arab, Middle Eastern or North African journalist will be selected to spend 3 months in residence at the Woodrow Wilson Center, in the heart of Washington, D.C., where they will carry out advanced, policy-oriented research and writing.

The Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars is the official memorial to the nation’s 28th president. More than just a collection of marble pillars and famous quotes, the Center is “a living memorial,” a gathering place for some of the best and brightest scholars and experts from around the world. Their work is the centerpiece of their activity and informs the nation’s public policy debates with nonpartisan and relevant research and information.
