Applications are now open for Cohort 6 of the Africa Fintech Summit’s 2023 AlphaExpo Micro-Accelerator Program to support early-stage entrepreneurship and investment in the African financial technology ecosystem.
At each November edition of the Africa Fintech Summit, they select startups from hundreds of applications to exhibit at the summit free of charge and to participate in the AlphaExpo Bootcamp, concluding in a pitch competition.
What does the program look like?
- Opportunity to exhibit in the largest annual expo of African financial technology firms
- Specialized workshops catered to the needs of participating startups
- VIP attendance at the 10th Africa Fintech Summit
- Introductions to world-class investors during the summit
What can you expect from participating in the AlphaExpo?
- Participation in the program will include various sessions covering everything from fundraising, to strategy, and even compliance; selected startups will also receive free admission to AFTS, a free exhibition booth, an invite to all VIP events, and the opportunity to participate in the AlphaExpo Pitch Competition before a panel of judges and a room full of venture capital money.
Criteria
- This year the program will enable up to 15 African startups the opportunity to attend and exhibit at this November’s AFTS in Lusaka, Zambia on November 2-3, 2023 as a VIP delegate.
- Selected applications will be notified of their selection by September 15th.
