- Best Digital Marketing Solutions
- Is your solution built to create a new experience for a new customers and bring new dare, content and functionality to life Have you created something completely new that will delight and engage your users? Whether mobile app or a solution for another channel, share your journey and your supporting material and you could become their winner.
- Best Use of Data & Insights
- This award is open to those using structured, unstructured and streaming data in an innovative way within the energy industry. This includes potential blockchain and Al solutions, customer data, third party data or any data. They had love to understand how the data was generated, whether it was combined with its correlation to other data, and how well your tool can extrapolate data and close any gaps that might delay results. They had also liked to see any results you’ve uncovered.
- Best Network Transport or Distribution Solution
- They want to see new products and technologies that will help energy networks remain reliable, safe and efficient, as well as charging, payment and search solutions that encourage people and businesses to use electric vehicles. This award will recognize new solutions that can create sustainable benefits for energy customers, electric vehicle owners, networks and the broader system. Could you be their winner?
- Best CleanTech
- This award recognizes fresh CleanTech ideas. Enter this category if you’re utilizing digital technologies (web, mobile, data, IA, AR/VR, blockchain) to reduce energy consumption, increase the use of clean energy or the life of energy assets, or improve energy efficiency.
- Best Smart City Solution
- This category celebrates digital solutions that allow for better interconnection, better use of resources and lower emissions within a Smart City environment. Whether it is IOT solutions aimed at transport or Al solutions for better heating and cooling of buildings, they are focused on solutions designed with the citizen in mind.

In addition to public recognition, all category winners will receive:
- A one-to-one advisory session with a member of their judging panel
- A workshop with Publicis Sapient, with advice on scaling and accelerating your product or solution
- An editorial write-up in WIRED Magazine
- Their own startup corner at VivaTech 2023-Europe’s largest tech event.
Eligibility Criteria
These awards are aimed at small businesses typically in the early-growth and scale up phase, which have innovative technologies, robust business models, the ability to demonstrate traction in their activities and the potential for global scale.
For the purposes of these awards, applicants must:
- Be a registered company (including partnerships and equivalent for-profit corporate structures) in one of the following countries:
- Have been operating for 5 years or less (in current form).
- Be either a pure technology, tech-driven or a tech-enabled business.
- Not be majority owned by a multinational business with global revenue of over $1bn.
- All applicants entering the awards on behalf of a company must:
- Be aged 18 or over.
- Publicis Sapient employees and contractors are prohibited from entering the competition.
- The competition is not open to any company which is a Publicis Sapient client or an affiliate or a connected party to a client.
