The Sacramento Region Community Foundation is inviting applications for 2021-22 APIs (Asian and/or Pacific Islander) RISE Fund to build and strengthen the next generation of API leadership for the Sacramento region.
The APIs RISE mission is to increase the capacity and impact of Asian Pacific Islander philanthropic giving in the capital area. They advance their mission by cultivating and securing resources and by engaging with locals to learn about the issues affecting the community.
For the 2021-2022 year grant cycle, the APIs RISE Fund grant opportunity theme is: “Combating Anti-Asian Hate and Anti-Black Racism.”
Funding Information
- The maximum grant amount will be $10,000 for any single organization.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for consideration, submissions must meet the following criteria:
- Applicant agency must serve Asian and/or Pacific Islander populations;
- Applicant agency must have 501(c)3 status; and
- Applicants must service Sacramento and/or Yolo counties.
- Size of grant requested does not exceed $10,000 per organization.
- Applicant has not been awarded APIs RISE Fund grants over two consecutive years, beginning from grants awarded in 2020.
