Applications are now open for the 2021 Holland/Zeeland Young Professionals (HYP) Grants Program with an aim to further the development of young professionals to leave a lasting impact on the community.
With the funds from the HYP Endowment, the goal in 2021 is to identify organizations that have demonstrated commitment to the West Michigan future leaders.
This fund resides with the Community Foundation of the Holland/Zeeland Area.
Funding Information
- HYP Grant awards are made once annually, averaging around $5,000, with individual funding amounts ranging from $500 – $2,500.
Criteria
- The grant nominee/applicant must be an active 501c3 non-profit organization.
- Organizations must submit their proposed budget and proof of their non-profit status via the given website.
- Grant requests must fulfill the mission of The HYP Fund and align with the mission of HYP.
- HYP Fund Mission: To support organizations that provide and encourage leadership development throughout the greater Holland/Zeeland area.
- HYP Mission: To connect and develop young professionals to lead and impact the community.
- Grant requests do not need to specifically young professionals specifically to be considered.
- HYP seeks a variety of projects that encourage leadership in the community, though applications that benefit youth and young professionals are highly encouraged.
Timeline
- Grant applications open | March 3rd, 2021;
- Grant applications close | March 31st, 2021 at 11:59 PM;
- Grantees notified | April 30th, 2021.
