The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), National Institute of Justice (NIJ), seeks applications for independent, rigorous evaluations of projects funded under the Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 OJP Community Based Violence Intervention and Prevention Initiative (CVIPI) solicitation.

Goal: The goal of this solicitation is to develop the evidence needed to inform and improve the effectiveness of CVIPI policies, practices, and programs involving adult, youth, and/or child populations, designed to prevent violent crime and victimization in the communities.

Objectives

The objective of this solicitation is to evaluate the design, implementation, outcomes, and impacts of CVIPI projects funded under the Fiscal Year (FY) 2022 OJP Community Based Violence Intervention and Prevention Initiative (CVIPI) solicitation in order to develop generalizable findings that inform community-based efforts to implement more effective violence prevention and intervention strategies.
