The National Institute of Justice (NIJ) is offering grants under “2022 Research and Evaluation on School Safety” to:
- study the root causes and consequences of school violence and
- examine the impact and effectiveness of awards made for purposes authorized under the STOP School Violence Act.
Office of Justice Programs (OJP) is committed to advancing work that promotes civil rights and racial equity, increases access to justice, supports crime victims and individuals impacted by the justice system, strengthens community safety and protects the public from crime and evolving threats, and builds trust between law enforcement and the community.
The ultimate goal of this solicitation is to develop and disseminate knowledge to inform development of evidence-based strategies and practices to reduce school violence.
