The Woodard & Curran Foundation is seeking proposals for the 2023 Impact Grant that focus on the protection and/or management of the watersheds and groundwater supplies in the face of climate change.
Projects may include (but are not limited to) management through forestry, fire prevention, or remediation of impacted watersheds. Preference may be given to projects addressing climate resiliency of disadvantaged communities. Preference may also be given to projects located within 100 miles of Woodard & Curran Foundation donors and volunteers and to applications that have the expressed support of a Woodard & Curran Foundation donor.
Funding Information
- In 2023, Woodard & Curran Foundation will award one 1-year $100K Impact Grant for a project on a theme of Watershed Protection/Water Resources Management.
Eligibility Criteria
An organization applying for an Impact Grant must:
- Be US-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations.
- Have received 501(c)(3) non-profit designation as of the date of the application and retain that status throughout the grant term.
- Not discriminate on the basis of race, age, ancestry or national origin, sexual orientation, gender, physical or mental disability, or religion.
- Not be a political organization, a political action committee, or a house of worship. (The Foundation accepts applications from organizations with religious affiliations if the project is not specific to or primarily to benefit a religious group).
