The Australian Government is inviting applications to deliver services under the Future Drought Fund: Drought Resilience Leaders Project. The Future Drought Fund (the Fund) is a long-term investment fund that provides a sustainable source of funding to help Australian farmers and communities become more prepared for, and resilient to, the impacts of drought.

The Drought Resilience Leaders (DRL) project grant will fund a provider to design and deliver the DRL Project nationally in agriculture dependent communities. Drought resilience includes the ability to adapt, reorganise or transform in response to changing temperature, increasing variability and scarcity of rainfall, and changed seasonality of rainfall, which may lead to improved economic, environmental and social wellbeing.

Applicants can apply for a grant, which includes administrative funding, up to a maximum of $7.45 million (exclusive of GST).
