The Government of South Australia is seeking applications for its Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Grants – Professional Development to support professional development opportunities for individual Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and arts workers to undertake skills development and training that is relevant to their arts practice or professional practice as an arts or cultural worker.
Funding Information
Amount: Up to $10,000

- Short courses, including arts-related business courses
- Work placement
- Masterclasses
- Workshops
- Attendance at conferences
- Arts residencies
- Attachment to festivals or arts organisations, internships
Eligibility Criteria
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists (individuals)
- Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander arts and cultural workers (individuals)
- arts and cultural organisations and Aboriginal arts centres may submit and/or auspice grants on behalf of individual Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander artists and arts and cultural workers
- Applicants must:
- be professional practicing artists or arts workers / cultural workers
- be Australian citizens or have permanent resident status
- live in South Australia six months or more per year.
Ineligible
- Groups and organisations (unless auspicing individual artists and/or arts and cultural workers)
- Non-Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander individuals
