ACL: Centers for Independent Living Competition in the US

The Administration for Community Living (ACL) is currently seeking applications for the Centers for Independent Living (CIL) Program to provide grants for the provision of Independent Living (IL) services to individuals with significant disabilities.

The centers funded by the program are required to provide the following core services:

Centers for Independent Living (CILs) are consumer driven agencies that work with individuals with significant disabilities. CILs provide independent living services focused on enabling an individual to achieve independence in their community.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for funding, an applicant must-

Domestic private non-profit entities including, Indian tribal organizations (American Indian/Alaskan Native/Native American), faith- based organizations, LGBT, and communitybased organizations that meet the above eligibility requirements are eligible to apply.
