ACT announces Community Zero Emissions Grants Program – Australia

Denver Foundation inviting Nonprofits to Apply for Funding for the Care Fund

The ACT Government is currently seeking applications for the Community Zero Emissions Grants Program – Round 4 to encourage innovative solutions at the local and community level that directly reduce emissions as well as engage the community on how they can contribute.

The Community Zero Emissions Grants Program  provides funding to eligible organisations and individuals to undertake on-ground activities to develop initiatives, programs and projects that support the ACT’s transition to net zero emissions by 2045.

Program Priorities

Sustainable transport will be the key priority area for Round Four, though applications from other areas (including energy, buildings, waste and mechanisms for social engagement) are encouraged.

Funding Information

$127,500 of funding is available in Round Four (including rollover from previous rounds), with grants of up to $25,000 (excluding GST) to eligible community based groups.
