Deadline: 23-Jan-22
The Minority Rights Group International is offering grants under “Advocacy Projects to promote Rights of Religious Minorities” to fund national advocacy projects that work toward supporting the social, economic and/or political rights of religious minorities and advancing accountability for violations against religious minorities in the following countries: Lebanon, Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, Iraq, Iran, Syria.
Objective: Across the Middle East and North Africa region, minorities have suffered longstanding discrimination at the structural and the individual levels. In many parts of the region, human rights violations have been committed – often with impunity – against minority communities who also experience political, social and economic exclusion. This dreadful situation has been further exacerbated by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
