AGRI Biofuels Infrastructure Grant Program (US)

The Minnesota Department of Agriculture (MDA) is now accepting applications for the Agricultural Growth, Research, and Innovation (AGRI) Biofuels Infrastructure Grant Program to support the advancement of Minnesota’s agricultural and renewable energy industries.

The AGRI Biofuels Infrastructure Grant Program is a competitive funding opportunity for Minnesota retail service stations to increase access to and sales of motor fuel blends containing at least 15% ethanol.

Funding Information

Approximately $6,610,000 is available in this round. Applicants may request between $5,000 and $199,000 for an individual project. If any funds remain after the end of this round, another round of grants will be offered later in 2022.

Eligible projects: Eligible grant projects include replacing or upgrading current equipment (retail petroleum dispensers, fuel storage tanks, etc.) so it can be certified as compatible with E25 or higher blends.
