The Agriculture On-Farm Student Bursary program introduces agriculture to students as a viable career option and helps address the labour gap for agriculture producers in Nova Scotia.

This program assists students in achieving success while developing the knowledge and skills needed to work in the Agricultural Industry.

Funding Information

Program funding through this program is $1,000 per program year, which is in addition to the wages paid by the employer. A student enrolled in an accredited post-secondary institution, who has worked on a Nova Scotia registered farm for:
