Deadline: 12-Jun-25

Applications are now open for the ASICS Foundation Grant Program to strengthen and expand the activities of organizations that offer support through physical activity and sports to people in economically and socially challenged situations.

The ASICS Foundation has officially launched its 2025 grants programme, welcoming applications from organisations that promote physical activity and sport to foster mental and physical wellbeing.

Rooted in the ASICS philosophy of “Anima Sana In Corpore Sano” (a Sound Mind in a Sound Body), this initiative is dedicated to supporting community-led efforts that benefit young people, individuals with disabilities, and women experiencing social or economic hardship.

As part of its inaugural focus, the Foundation is targeting regions where ASICS has a strong presence, including India, Vietnam, Indonesia, Cambodia, and Japan. In these locations, applicants are encouraged to submit proposals that fit within three thematic streams.

For youth development, the Foundation seeks projects that use sports and exercise to enhance children’s physical and mental health while fostering essential life skills and community connections. Proposals aimed at individuals with disabilities should improve social inclusion by providing accessible and supportive sporting environments.

Finally, initiatives that tackle gender inequality in sports through inclusive programmes, the creation of safe spaces, and equal opportunities are welcomed for the women’s stream.

The application period runs from 16 May to 12 June 2025 (Japan Standard Time), and interested organisations should begin by sending an expression of interest via email.

This initial correspondence must include only basic details such as the organisation’s name, location, and contact person, formatted in line with the provided subject line.

Upon receipt, the Foundation will forward the full application guidelines, form, and budget template. Applicants will then complete these documents and return them as PDF attachments to the designated ASICS Foundation email address.

Through this grants programme, ASICS aims to break down barriers to healthy and inclusive sports engagement. By enabling access to safe, sustainable physical activity, the Foundation seeks to empower marginalised groups through structured sport, coach training, community-grounded events, and the development of sports infrastructure.

Ultimately, this initiative reflects ASICS’s enduring commitment to leverage the power of movement for societal well‑being.
