Deadline: 31-Oct-20
The Carlsbad Community Foundation welcomes for Chevron Catalyst Grant program grant proposals from non-profit organizations for projects consistent with the Foundation’s mission of improving the lives of people in Carlsbad and South Eddy County.
Charitable organizations may apply for grants to address a wide variety of community needs, including civic involvement, health, diversity, arts and culture, education, etc. To best support broad charitable purposes in the community, the foundation is not able to offer grants for event sponsorships, marketing activities, sports, travel, or political parties/activities.
In 2016, Chevron Products Company partnered with the Carlsbad Community Foundation to establish the Chevron Catalyst Fund.
Proposals for grants should be submitted in a letter with two signatures that briefly outlines the objectives and significance of the project to the community and includes a general budget for how the money will be spent. Any proposed grant request should be accompanied by a copy of the applicant’s official notice of tax-exempt status under the Internal Revenue Code, if one is not already on file.
