The Bereshit Prize Fund and the provision of community funds have launched the grant program dedicated to the theme “Empowering Women in Israel.”
Eligible Fields
They invite organizations working in the following fields to apply for a grant:
- Equal opportunities for women in education, employment and leadership.
- Promoting gender equality.
- Promoting the rights and status of women in minority groups.
- Prevention of violence against women.
Funding Information
- The grant is given for two years and the sum of the application will not exceed NIS 280,000 for the two years of activity.
- The amount requested for the grant shall not exceed 20% of the total budget of the organization.
- The organization must raise / show funding for at least 25% of the project budget.
Eligibility Criteria
- The grant may be requested by organizations with proper management approval and Article 46 in effect.
- However – organizations that are less than two years old – please contact them and they will get back to you.
- Organizations that have been in existence for more than two years with proper management approval and without section 46 – can contact them and they will examine whether there is a way to be helpful.
- Each organization may apply for only one project.
- The grant is intended to finance the project in all its parts and not to finance the management overhead of the organization.
- Completing the form does not guarantee receipt of a grant but rather a discussion of the application.
- Organizations that meet these conditions are invited to fill out the initial application form for a grant in the link given on the website.
How to Apply
- The form must be filled out in Chrome only.
- All fields must be filled in.
- The form can be saved at any stage, provided that each field has at least one mark.
- Applicants can go back and change until the last submission date.
- The posting is done by clicking on “Save Changes” at the end of the form.
- Applicants can log in anytime, change and update. Clicking “Save Changes” will save and resubmit the system.
