Applications are now open for the Local Projects Grant Program to provide funds to NGOs, cultural producers and activists working in the field of culture and arts in promoting tolerance, pluralism, freedom of expression and democratic processes in Turkey’s shrinking civil space and to contribute to the democratization of the field.
Designed to reach initiatives and individuals that have an impact on local communities and audiences, the Local Projects Grant Program aims to implement cultural projects that focus on social issues and encourage dialogue in a comprehensive and flexible structure.

- The Local Projects Grant Scheme offers grants of up to 10,000 euros.

Eligibility Criteria
- It is open to NGOs, initiatives and individuals with or without official status.
- Applicants must have at least 2 years of activity in the fields of culture and arts / civil society documented through various supporting documents such as CV, online and printed materials.
- Applicants must have a grassroots-focused strategy.
- Co-applicants and associates may take part in the project.
