Applications Open for Suburban Grant Program – Australia

The State Government of Victoria has launched the applications for Suburban Grant Program to boost the revitalisation work of metropolitan Local Governments and incorporated not-for-profit organisations in their suburban communities.

Purpose

The Suburban Grants are intended to support projects in suburban shopping strips and activity centres that will support and respond to the opportunities and challenges in Melbourne’s suburbs as more Melburnians work and spend their leisure time locally.

The Living Local – Suburban Grants Program will support a range of projects including playgrounds, splash pads, outdoor gyms, community gardens, community hall upgrades, amphitheatres, paths, lighting and public art.
