Autismazing Corporation (a.k.a. Autismazing.org), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization is providing micro-grant funding opportunities to reimburse grantees for expenses related to training, education and peer support.
For many adults with autism, support and services need to continue in order to pursue college, career or entrepreneurship. Autismazing.org is committed to assisting by providing financial grants for services, technology or other items that are not covered/reimbursed by insurance or other providers.
Funding Information
- Grant Amount: Up to $1,000 per grant period per person
Use of Funds
- Possible uses of grant funds include:
- Education – Tuition, training fees and/ or educationally-related services (e.g., tutoring, transportation, housing) costs
- Therapy services
- Job or Peer Coaching
- Technology – computer, devices, software
- Books/Materials
- Membership/Conference fees; and related costs
- Kickstarter funding to start or grow business
- Work-related tools, clothing, equipment, inventory
Criteria
- Grants are provided to those (13-30 years old, US citizens) who intend to use or have used funds for higher education, job training, job placement, or entrepreneurship (business) needs.
