The Australian High Commission in the Kingdom of Tonga has announced the Direct Aid Program (DAP) which is a community development program funded by the Australian Government.

The program aims to support projects with a strong development focus that complement Australia’s broader aid program which contributes to sustainable economic growth and poverty reduction.

In 2020-21, they particularly welcome proposals for projects that address people with disabilities, women and girls, livelihoods, human rights, environment and climate change, community health, arts and culture, youth and social inclusion.
