2022 Australia Awards Scholarship in Tuvalu

The HEA has launched the 2019 call under the Government of Ireland International Academic Mobility programme.

Launched in 2018 for the first time, the fund has supported 51 projects led by 25 higher education institutions. The purpose of the initiative is to support the creation of teaching, learning and research international collaborations with HEIs from any country in the world.

Objectives

The Globally Connected Academic Mobility Programme will contribute to the achievement of national aims and objectives including the implementation of key strategies, policies and initiatives such as:

Benefits

Return economy air travel fare and a per diem of a minimum €180 will be provided. Projects requiring a higher per diem will be considered on a case by case basis, taking into consideration the destination country. There are no minimum or maximum limits on the costs associated with each project, but the emphasis will be on achieving optimal utilisation of the available funding.
