Applications are now open for Arts OutWest Restart Micro Grants Program.
Arts OutWest ran a very successful first round of MicroGrants in 2020. In 2021, with the support of the NSW Government’s Arts Restart funds, Arts OutWest is offering round 2 of Micro Grants to ‘restart’ arts activity and assist individuals and organizations in their service region.
Arts OutWest is the regional arts development organization (RADO) covering 11 council areas in the NSW Central West region. Their mission is to promote, facilitate, educate and advocate for arts and cultural development in their communities.
Focus Areas
The NSW Government’s Arts Restart funds are designed to stimulate arts activity and economic growth in regional areas, prioritizing:
- Employment of arts workers and creative;
- Development of new work;
- Supporting Regional NSW through touring or other measures.
Funding Information
There are two types of grants on offer, from a total pool of $24,000.
- A: Grants of up to $1000 for individuals, groups, arts businesses;
- B: Grants of up to $2000 for community activities.
Eligibility Criteria
- You must be based in the Arts OutWest region.
- You can be an individual, organization, group, arts-based business, or local council.
- Your request must be arts-related.
- The request must offer a way of helping ‘restart’ your arts practice, engagement or experience.
- Projects, purchases or activities supported by the funding must be completed by 31 May 2021.
- Recipients of 2020 Arts OutWest Micro Grants are eligible to apply but please be aware that new applicants may be prioritized.
- Individuals or organizations do not have to be a legal entity (eg incorporated organization, have an ABN). Individuals representing informal collectives or other non-incorporated groups are welcome to apply.
