The City of Greater Geelong has announced the applications for Artists & Creatives Professional Development Grants.
The purpose of Arts Professional Development Grants is to support local, professional artists, musicians or arts workers, heritage workers and volunteer community arts workers to further develop their creative skills, business skills and professional practice.
Funding Information
- Grants of up to $2,000 are available (subject to budget limitations).
- There is a total grant pool of $220,000 available to cover the three arts grants offered by the City (Arts Projects, Professional Development and Quick Response).
Eligibility Criteria
- Professional artists, volunteer community arts or heritage workers who reside permanently within the Greater Geelong municipality. Individuals may apply to finance selected professional and skill development activities including, but not limited to reimbursement of travel costs or registration fees for:
- Cultural conferences
- Programs
- Mentorships or
- Other arts education activities for individuals.
Who can and can’t apply?
- The Artists & Creative Professional Development Grants are for individuals engaged in the arts, music, heritage or creative industries.
- You must be based in the City of Greater Geelong Municipality
- Applicants must have an Australian Business Number (ABN) or provide a Statement by a supplier form available from the Australian Taxation Office.
