Australia: Community Sporting and Recreation Facilities Fund [Small Grants]

Deadline: 31-Mar-23

The Western Australian Government has launched the Small Grant under Community Sporting and Recreation Facilities Fund (CSRFF) to provide Western Australian Government financial assistance to community groups and local government authorities to develop basic infrastructure for sport and recreation.

The Community Sporting and Recreation Facilities Fund (CSRFF) exemplifies the Western Australian Government’s commitment to the development of sustainable infrastructure for sport and recreation across the State.

The program aims to maintain or increase participation in sport and recreation with an emphasis on physical activity, through rational development of good quality, well-designed and well-utilised facilities.

Through CSRFF, the Western Australian Government will invest $12.5 million in the 2022–2023 financial year towards the development of quality physical environments in which people can enjoy sport and recreation. The maximum grant offered for standard grant applications is one third of the total estimated project cost (excluding GST) up to a maximum grant of $2 million.
