The TransGrid is seeking applications for the Community Partnerships Program to benefit communities in areas where the assets are located or under development. The program provide not-for-profit groups with funding to help deliver initiatives that will have a tangible and lasting impact on local communities.
This vision is at the forefront of their mission to deliver safe and efficient electricity transmission services, and sets the benchmark by which they operate.
- TransGrid usually provide funding of up to $5,000 to each successful applicant.
Eligible Initiatives
- are the responsibility of local, state or federal governments
- are for travel, study or conferences (unless incidental to a funded project)
- have a religious, political or sectarian purpose
- are endowments, memorials or academic chairs
- comprise retrospective costs
- comprise general maintenance or overhead expenses (unless part of a specific project)
- are general fundraising appeals
- will require ongoing support from TransGrid (beyond the initial funding)
- are outside of NSW and the ACT.
Ineligible
They do not fund initiatives that:
• are the responsibility of local, state or federal governments
