The Bank of America has announced the applications for Frank Loomis Palmer Fund to support and promote quality educational, cultural, human services, and health care programming for underserved populations. The Palmer Fund specifically serves the people of New London, Connecticut.
Bank of America, N.A. serves as trustee, co-trustee, or agent to numerous private foundations. The Connecticut-based Philanthropic Solutions office manages many of these discretionary foundations which support nonprofit organizations serving vital community needs. The majority of these foundations were created and structured by donors to provide focused grantmaking based on a specific program and/or geographic area.
Focus Areas
They seek to positively impact the lives of the traditionally underserved within their communities through their support of charitable organizations. There are a limited number of Connecticut foundations where the donor granted broad funding discretion to Bank of America, Private Bank. These foundations generally fund the areas of human services, education, health care, the arts, and the environment.

- Applicant organizations must serve the people of New London, Connecticut.
- The majority of grants from the Palmer Fund are 1 year in duration. On occasion, multi-year support is awarded.

- Grants from the Palmer Fund are primarily 1 year in duration. On occasion, multi-year support is awarded. Applicants will not be awarded a grant for more than 3 consecutive years.
