The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), Office of Justice Programs (OJP), Bureau of Justice Assistance (BJA) is seeking applications for funding for the purpose of setting standards for, and improving of, corrections departments’ analytical capacity in order to enable more informed planning and decision making at the agency and state levels.

Goals 

The goal of this program is to improve the operations of correctional facilities by helping the managing agencies establish, assess, and improve their corrections analysis programs. This will help analysts improve their skills and help agencies make the best use of analysis results. While this program could be expanded to include community corrections in future years pending needs of the field and availability of additional funds, applicants should limit the scope of proposals under this solicitation to prisons.
