The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has announced the Public Call Makers for submission of project proposals within the project “Activism, engagement and responsible solutions” (MAKERS) in the areas of local self-government units: Brcko District, Bugojno, Center Sarajevo, Doboj, East Novo Sarajevo, Lake, Novi Trav.
The MAKERS project seeks to strengthen existing mechanisms for citizen participation in decision-making processes, the Local Dialogue Platform (LDP), established under the Dialogue for the Future II1 project.
The project aims to improve social cohesion in partner local self-government units (LGUs), support and strengthen local mechanisms of public participation, support community activism and strengthen young leaders in their communities and beyond, promoting joint action and common goals.
Objective: Neighboring local governments coordinate with each other and with higher levels of government in order to work on issues relevant to local and higher authorities.
Goal: LGUs, citizens and young active citizens work together in partnership to take effective action at the local level on community challenges.
Funding Information
- minimum amount: 13,000.00 KM
- maximum amount: 17,000.00 KM
- The duration of the project can be from 4 (four) to 6 (six) months, in the period from May 2022 to November 2022

This call aims to support the implementation of projects focused on objectives and specific priorities using the LDP mechanism in the area of the following partner LGUs:
- Brcko District
- Bugojno
- Center Sarajevo
- Doboj
- East New Sarajevo
- Lake
- Novi Travnik
- Meadow
Eligibility Criteria
- Participation in this public call is open, on an equal basis, to all formally registered CSOs (association / association or foundation) with the seat of the organization in the field of local self-government that are the subject of this public call (specified in the Decision on Registration), in accordance with the applicable legal regulations in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
- This public call is not open to branches of foreign and international associations, foundations and other non-profit organizations registered and operating in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
